The Hobonichi Techo HON with a book-like design is a compact, page-per-day type techo with a hardcover design already attached to the book. The format and contents are the same as the Original and Cousin.
The iconic Hobonichi Techo is frequently listed as one of the best planners available. Every detail has been carefully considered to make this diary a joy to use. It features a day-per-page, weekly and monthly diaries, lays completely flat, and uses the wonderful new Tomoe River S paper which is thin, smooth and handles ink beautifully. The contents are the same as the Hobonichi Techo Cousin book. The HON A5 size includes weekly pages which track a week in each two-page spread for easy planning and contain a handy time schedule.
As a special exclusive only for the HON, this techo comes with a pencil board. The board is A5 size and clear, with 5mm grid lines printed across it. There are measurements printed along one side in 1mm increments, which allow for use as a ruler. It also has a pen holder attached to it where users can store pens by their clips.
Renowned for its exquisite Japanese craftsmanship, this planner is designed to be more than just a diary—it's a daily companion that encourages mindful planning and journaling.
Slash is one of the basic design options for the HON, which has a hardcover design already attached to the book. The dark navy cover almost looks black, and the diagonal slash is foil-printed in gold. The design is based on the forward-slash symbol ( / ) used when writing dates. The cloth of the cover has a matte texture that feels nice in your hands and is resistant to grime, as well as wear and tear. The book spine is foil-pressed in gold with the year 2026 and the HON logo for easy reference when placed in your bookshelf alongside other books.
