Tamagotchi: A5 Cover on Cover (Colourful Tamagotchi)

This is an illustrated version of the Cover on Cover, which you can put on top of your Hobonichi Techo cover to protect it from scuff marks and dirt. Using this in combination with a plain cover like the Colors will give it a fresh new look. (Not for use directly on the techo book)

An item born from a collaboration with the digital handheld pet Tamagotchi, which took the world by storm after its 1996 release. The Cousin-size Colorful Tamagotchi showcases the characters from the original Tamagotchi and Newly Discovered!! Tamagotchi series in a colorful pixel art style across the entire cover.

Of course there are beloved characters like Mametchi, Kuchipatchi, and Oyajitchi among others, but there are also motifs such as the Poop and Skull icons, the Happiness Meter and Game result screen.

Look closely and you might even come across Techotchi, the Tamagotchi newly discovered on the Hobonichi Techo. It has a charming pink beak that can hold a pen, and small triangular and square feet.

Just by putting this design on top of your Hobonichi Techo cover, it will add a charming cuteness and even more fun. In order to enjoy the illustrations to the fullest, this cover is made without a slit for the cover’s exterior pocket.
