Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolour paints are premium, artisanal Japanese solid watercolours with a similar consistency to gouache. When applied thickly, they have a subtle sheen instead of the usual matte finish of watercolours. These paints are compatible with waterbrushes and can be directly worked from by wetting the paint pans. Thick application results in intensely vibrant colours, even on dark paper or cardstock. For a more translucent yet vivid outcome, apply sparingly.
The large 48mm x 28mm pan makes it easy to use larger, thick brushes and colour large surface areas.
