When the name of the iconic Hayao Miyazaki (Studio Ghibli) is mentioned, it's not just one but a thousand images that surround our imagination. And, 45 years after the release of his first feature film, these references that were once his are now ours.
KIBLIND Atelier presents today 10 riso printed prints inspired by his most iconic films, entrusted to 10 contemporary Lyon-based illustrators.
More than a literal translation of a film, each of the creations is an interpretation by the artist to whom the original work is entrusted.

About KIBLIND Atelier
KIBLIND is a magazine dedicated to visual culture and contemporary illustration created in 2004. Since 2017, KIBLIND Atelier has extended the artistic project of the magazine through the publishing and production of posters, books, and illustrated objects, relying on a selection of talented artists from around the world and using printed expertise, particularly risography. Risography is a cold printing technique similar to screen printing, particularly eco-friendly. It is based on layer-by-layer color processing and the use of direct tones, more intense, more vibrant inks made from vegetable oil and without solvents.
