 Unlike conventional Realo models, the nib section can be separated from the barrel and mounted directly onto the new high-capacity body.

This feature allows compatible Sailor nib units sharing the same threading standard and dimensions to be installed on the new body, giving users the freedom to pair their favorite Sailor nibs with the enhanced Realo ink system.

 It is important to note that compatibility is not universal. The body is not compatible with Slim series models such as the 1911 Standard and Professional Gear Slim, King of Pen models, Special Nib and 1911 Casual L series, nor with certain cartridge-cover models including the Ebonite Sculpture, Kirikane, and Arita 400 Years Anniversary collections.
