In this fourth collaboration with illustrator and picture book author Yumi Kitagishi, the Weeks cover features an original wallpaper-inspired design reminiscent of a dollhouse interior. Charming illustrations of a white cat, two elegantly dressed swans, a black cat maid, and a grand house grace the pattern. The year 2027, a delicate spine line of small flowers and leaves, and a ribbon with lily-of-the-valley are all foil-pressed in matte gold for an understated, glamorous finish.
The Hobonichi Weeks planner features a compact design for easy portability. Its dimensions are similar to a long wallet, making it slim and tall. The left page displays a weekly overview with horizontal sections, while the right page offers a blank section for jotting down notes during the week, and memo pages at the back.
Because the book uses soft materials, you’ll need to hold the pages down in order to open the book flat.
