This illustration is part of a diptych titled “Tonko vs. Justice-kun”.
The inspiration for this piece comes from my love for retro Japanese tokusatsu series mixed with costumes and masks from the traditional Noh theater and the bold and vibrant graphic style of Japanese kites.
This side of the diptych shows our original character Justice-kun. The other side shows another original character, Tonko. What are they arguing about? Probably just food…
